IS MY HOUSE WORTH BEING "PROFESSIONALLY STAGED"?

According to the National Association of Realtors, for every $100 invested in staging, the potential return is $400. A staged home will sell for 17% more on average than a non-staged home, and 95% of staged homes sell in 11 days or less. That is statistically 87% faster than non-staged homes.

SHOULD I STAGE MY OWN HOME?

It can be difficult for home owners to be objective. It would be a better choice to hire a staging professional who is trained to be objective and understands the market and its current trends. We have the skills needed to prepare your home for a competitive market. How you live in a home and how you market a home are very different.

DO I NEED TO STAGE MY HOME IN A GOOD HOUSING MARKET?

Yes. Every house will sell… it’s a matter of when and for how much. Even if your house sells quickly in a good market, it doesn’t mean it sold for the amount it would have sold for had it been professionally staged. Remember, professionally staged homes sell in a conservative average for 6%+ more. If your home sold for 900k without staging it probably would have sold for 954k professionally staged.

WHAT ROOMS ARE MOST IMPORTANT TO STAGE?

We recommend focusing on the public areas of the home including formal living rooms, dining rooms, family rooms, kitchens, and the master suite. Additionally, any rooms that the potential buyer may find difficult to furnish, or that may have an unusual layout.
